Just if I had time to exercise.. Let’s do some math, shall we?
I know, I used to think I just didn’t have time to move. I’ve got a stressful job (still do), and I kept telling myself, “I just need to survive until it gets better, then I’ll have time for me.” Don’t make the same mistake, that time is not coming!
Let’s be reasonable for a second and break it down to numbers. I’ll list a “typical” week here, giving plenty of time for socializing and chilling in front of the TV too—because, hey, we’re human right?
My math isn't great, but I think a week has 168 Hours, correct?
• Sleep: ~56 hours (8 hours/night)
• Work: ~40 hours (full-time job)
• Commuting: ~7 hours (average)
• Meals (prep and eating): ~14 hours (2 hours/day)
• Household chores: ~8 hours
• Family/social time: ~16 hours (gotta have this!)
• TV/streaming/screen time: ~18 hours (we need our Netflix, right?)
Total: 159 hours
Wait… are we forgetting something?? It seems like we’re missing 9 hours!

Even with all this included—yes, including 3 solid hours of Netflix every single day—we STILL have time for 18x brisk 30-minute walks per week.
When I saw the numbers, I gave up on excuses, laced up my sneakers, and started moving. What do you think?
Start small—your future self will thank you!
